it's a GIRL!

Wow, so I know it's been FOREVER since I've last blogged, but I'm back. Alot has happened since my last post. My belly is definitely getting bigger, I feel fantastic, and we found out a couple of weeks ago that we're having another girl. . .yay!!! More bows and frufruness. . .is that a word? Camryn is so excited. She kisses my belly and tells me that the baby is her "bess fran". It's so cute. I can't wait to see how loving and nurturing she'll be with her new little sister. She's gonna be the best big sister ever! I think Daddy was a little shocked to find out that it was a girl. He just "knew" that it was a boy. He's excited though. . . now that the shock has worn off. :) We do have a name for this little precious. . . .her name is Fallon Sophia. We wanted something that was different, but not too weird. Chad loves it, so that is HUGE. Even though she'll be wearing a bunch of Camryn's previous clothes, I can't help but want to buy her stuff when I go out. Those little tiny clothes are just too cute! I'm 21 weeks now, so we're over the half way mark. I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes as smoothly as the first half. I'm feeling GREAT!

week 11

Well, I went for my 10 week check up last week, and got to hear my little one's heartbeat! It was so sweet. Camryn and Chad went with me to hear it. She just grinned from ear to ear when she heard. Finally the nausea and yucky feelings are wearing off as the end of my first trimester nears. Doc told me I could find out the sex at 18 weeks. . . that's too long to wait! Patience, Christy. I'm looking forward to the next 29 weeks of pregnancy. . .I'll keep you posted.

week 6. . . . again

Well, I went for my first doctor's visit this week. My little gummy bear is doing just fine. However, it is measuring 61/2 weeks instead of 71/2, so I'm now in my 6th week of pregnancy. . . . again. My due date changed to the 22nd of February. Oh, how I forgot how TIRED I would get in the afternoons. I mean, I feel like a totally different person after lunch. Cranky, irritable, sooooo tired, and I just want a nap. . . .just a little one. . . .please?? I literally fall asleep with Camryn every night. Pure exhaustion. Oh well. . . such a small price to pay. No other symptoms, really. Doc says everything looks great. I go for another appointment in 4 weeks, so I'll have another update then. Have a great 4th of July!

week 6

I'm in my 6th week now and I am not having ANY signs or symptoms of being pregnant. . . .yet. I'm feeling pretty good, actually. I am finding myself being a little snippy with the hubs. . .sorry babe. :) Just waiting for the morning sickness to arrive, ugh. I never really got sick with Camryn. . .just a little nauseated every now and then. Nothing a little ginger ale and crackers couldn't cure. I pray that I continue with this blissful feeling throughout my pregnancy, but I know that's not realistic. I'm also hoping for less weight gain. . . 57lbs. is a lot to carry. Maybe next week I'll have more interesting news. TTFN!

guess what. . . .

I'm pregnant!! I could not be more thrilled! The final addition to our perfect little family is on its way. . . .Valentine's Day to be exact. I waited a day to tell Chad. I was nervous, and not sure why. I knew exactly how he would react. "What? Nuh uh. Are you serious?" Needless to say he was a little shocked, but not in a bad way. Adjusting to life with two kids is sure to be a challenge, but nothing we can't handle. I'm looking forward to the next nine months, and hope you'll join me in my journey!
